Where my football club plays, there are 2 football pitches, both within the boundary of a cricket field. Cricket hasn't been played there for about 20 years because our main pitch had to be fully enclosed.

I don't think there's a set size for a cricket field. All I know is that the cricket pitch has to be 22 yards between the stumps, and a minimum of 3 yards 1 foot wide.

The cricket field itself, whilst not having a prescribed size, is usually between 150 and 170 yards in diameter, or 2.5 football pitches wide and 1.5 long.

Cricket fields are much bigger than football pitches, but cricket pitches are much smaller.
