Given :

  • Football is kicked at an angle (∅)=37°
  • With Velocity (u) = 20m/s

To Find :

  • Maximum Height (Hmax)

Formula Used :

\bullet\underline{\boxed{\sf H_{max}=\dfrac{u^2sin^2\theta}{2g}}}

g = Acceleration due to gravity = 10m/s²

Solution :

\implies{\sf \dfrac{(20)^2sin^2 37}{2 \times 10} }

sin37 = 3/5

\implies{\sf \dfrac{400\times 3 \times 3}{2 \times 10 \times 5 \times 5}}

\implies{\sf \dfrac{36}{5}}

\implies{\bf H_{max}= 7.2 \: m}

Answer :

Maximum Height of ball is 7.2m
