a football match is being played at night in a stadium with light on. You can see the shadow of a football kept at ground but cannot see its shadow when it is kicked in the air. Explain

because the lights are pointed downwards so  the light will not fall on a ball on air so we cannot see its shadow. mark as brainllest

Answer:The ground acts as a screen for the ball lying on ground as the lights are falling on the opaque object. But the shadow disappears with the height of the ball in air because the ground is at far distance from it.
