Given : A football of mass 0.4kg, initially at rest is kicked by a force of magnitude 1000N for 10s.

To Find : the velocity of the ball after the kick

Solution:

F = 1000N

m = 0.4 kg

F = ma

=> 1000N = 0.4 (a)

=> a = 2500 m/s²

initially at rest

u = 0

a =  2500 m/s²

t = 10 sec

V = u + at

=> V = 0  + 2500(10)

=> V = 25000 m/s

velocity of the ball after the kick expressed as an integer in m/s is = 25000
