So their effective resistance is given by

1/R eq=1/R1+1/R2

R eq=R1 R2/R1+R2

So R eq = 5×10/5+10= 3.33

This R eq is connected with 7 in series,

So total effective resistance is 7+3.33= 10.33

Current = V/Total effective resistance

Current=6/10.33=0.58 A
