Explanation:

as we know that force=mass×acceleration

acceleration =force÷mass=0.1/0.5=1/5m/second square(multiplying 10 in both the numerator and denominator)

=1/5=0.2m/(secondsquare)

hope it will help you out!!!

A force 0.1N acts on a body of mass 0.5kg . Calculate the acceleration.

\huge {\blue {\underline {\underline {\mathtt{Answer :}}}}}

\sf {\red{Given :}}

  • force = 0.1 N
  • mass = 0.5 kg

\sf {\purple{To\:Find :}}

  • acceleration

\sf {\green{Solution :}}

{\sf{\orange{\boxed {F = ma }}}}

\sf :\implies a =  \dfrac {F}{m}

\sf :\implies a =  \dfrac {0.1}{0.5}

\sf :\implies a = 0.2

{\mathtt {\underline {\boxed { Acceleration = 0.2 m/s^2 }}}}
