So first u need to calculate the acceleration of the body....and we know that....F = ma

...a = F/m

a = 1/10......= 0.1m/s square

Now ....we also know that

S = ut + 1/2at^2

1(m) = u(4) + 1/2*0.1*16

1 = 4u + 0.8

0.2/4 = u

Therefore.....u= 0.05m/s
