Given:-

→ Magnitude of force = 10 N

→ Displacement of the body = 10 m

→ Angle of displacement = 45°

To find:-

→ Work done by the body.

Solution:-

We know that :-

W = F × s × cos θ

Where :-

W is the work done.

F is the force.

s is displacement of the body.

θ is the angle of displacement.

Now, value of cos θ at 45° is 1/2 or 0.707.

So substituting values in the above formula, we get :-

⇒ W = 10 × 10 × 0.707

⇒ W = 100 × 0.707

⇒ W = 70.7 J

Thus, work done by the body is 70.7 J .

Answer:

60°

W = FSCOSθ

= 10×10 cosθ

COSθ= 1/2

θ = 60°
