A force acts for 0.2s on a body of mass 4 kg initially at rest. The force is then withdrawn and
the body moves with a velocity of 2 m/s. Find the magnitude of force. If the force is applied
on a body of mass 10kg initially at rest for 0.4s, find out the velocity of this body.

Answer:

The answer is 1.6m/s

Explanation:

First we need to find the force(F).

By second law of motion .

F =m*(v-u) /t

Here,

m=4kg

v=2m/s

u=0m/s

F= 4*(2-0)/0.2

F= 40N

If this force is applied on a object of mass = 10kg for 0.4s

Then,

40= 10*(v -0)/0.4

40*0.4/10=v

1.6m/s= v
