A force F = 2 x + 1 acts on a body in the x direction where F is in Newton and x is in meter.
Find the work done by the force if the body is displaced from x = 2 m to x = 5 m

Hello user !

Here is your answer ❤❤

Work done = Force *Displacement.

Here , Given that , Force = 2*Displacement+1

X is the Displacement in the direction of force applied.

Therefore, Displacement = 5m -2m

=3metres

Then force = 2*3+1

= 7 N

And , Work done = Force *Displacement

So , work done = 7 * 3

work done = 21 J

Hope it helps ❤
