A force is applied on a body of mass 20 kg moving with a velocity of 40m/sec. the body attains a velocity of 50 m/sec in 2 seconds. calculate the work done by the body.

Energy before force is applied =1/2mv^2=1/2×20×1600=16000J
Energy after force applied =1/2 mv^2
=1/2×20×2500=25000J.
Work done by force =25000-16000=9000J
