A force is applied on a body of mass 20kg moving with a velocity of 40ms the body attains a velocity of 50ms is 2 seconds calculate the work done by the body​

m = 20kg , u = 40m/s , v = 50m/s , t = 2sec

a = (v-u)/t = (10 / 2) m/s² = 5m/s²

F = ma = (20*5)N = 100N

now,

S = ut + 1/2 at² = [80 +(5/2)*2*2]m = 90m

we know that,

W = FS cosØ = (100*90) J [we r ignoring cos Ø bcoz it is not mentioned]

W = 9*10³ J
