F=mass x acceleration
a=1/0.5 [a is the acceleration ]

S=ut+1/2at^2 [S is the distance travelled by using Newton law of motion ]
1000=0+1/2(2xt^2) [1km=1000m and u is initial velocity =0 since it starts from rest ]
t^2=1000
t=31.62sec.
