Answer:

as we know,

F =ma

F = 10N (given)

m = 10kg

Now, from question

F = ma

10N = 10 * a

a = 10/10

a = 1 m/ sec sq.

now, as we know

acceleration = velocity / time

so,

1 = x/ 4

x = 1*4

x = 4 m/sec

hence, velocity is 4 m/ sex

Correct Question:-

A force of 10N acting on a 10kg mass for 4s initially at rest . Calculate the velocity .

Given:-

  • Force ,F = 10N

  • Mass ,m = 10kg

  • Time taken ,t = 4s

To Find:-

  • Final velocity ,v

Solution:-

As we know that Force is the product of mass and acceleration.

F = a

Substitute the value we get

→ 10 = 10×a

→ 10/10 = a

→ a = 1m/s²

Therefore, the acceleration is 1m/s²

Now using 1st equation of motion

v = u+at

Substitute the value we get

→ v = 0+ 1×4

→ v = 4m/s

The final velocity is 4m/s.
