Given that:

  • Force = 10 N
  • Distance = 20 cm
  • Work done = 1 Joule

Need to find:

  • Angle between the force and the displacement = ?

Solution:

The Formula to find the angle between the force and the displacement —

{\qquad}{\bigstar{\boxed{\sf{w = fd cos \theta}}}}

According to the question —

 \sf \implies \: 1 = 10 \times 20 \times cos \theta \\  \\  \sf \implies \: 1 = 10 \times 0.2 m \times cos \theta \\  \\  \sf \implies \: cos \theta =  \frac{1}{2}  \\  \\  \sf \implies \theta = 60  \degree

Hence,the angle between the force and the displacement is 60\degree
