Answer

Work done = 100 J

Given

A force of 10 N is applied on an object it displays over 10 metre

To Find

Work done

Concept Used

Work is defined as product of force and displacement

Solution

Force , F = 10 N

Displacement , s = 10 m

Work , W = ? J

Apply formula ,

\to\ \rm W=Fs\\\\\to\ \rm W=(10)(10)\\\\\to\ \rm{\pink{W=100\ J\ \; \bigstar}}

So , Work done is 100 J

Work Done = 100 Nm or, 100 Joules

Data Provided:-

  • Force exerted (F) = 10 N
  • Displacement observed (s) = 10 m

We have to find the work done by the particle.

We know,

W = Fs

where,

  • W = Work Done,
  • F = Force exerted &
  • s = Displacement observed.

Thus,

W = (10 N)(10 m)

→ W = 100 Nm

W = 100 Joules
