\sf\small\red{Given:-}

  • Force = 10 N towards east.

  • Force = 5N towards north.

\sf\small\red{Find:-}

  • . Find the resultant of the two forces.

\sf\small\red{Solution:-}

\sf \overrightarrow{a + b} =  \sqrt{ {a}^{2}  +  {b}^{2}  + 2ab \: as \: ab}

\sf =  \sqrt{ {10}^{2}  +  {5}^{2} + 2 \times 10 \times 5 \times  \frac{1}{ \sqrt{2} }  }

\sf \:  =  \sqrt{100 + 25 + 50 \sqrt{2} }

\sf =  \sqrt{25(4 + 1 + 2 \sqrt{2} }

\sf   = \sqrt{25(7.82)}

\sf  = \sqrt{195.5}
