mass of first body=F/a=10/5=2kg
mass of second body=10/2=5kg
when tied together, total mass=5+2=7
acceleration=F/M=10/7=1.43m/s^2
mass of second body=10/2=5kg
when tied together, total mass=5+2=7
acceleration=F/M=10/7=1.43m/s^2

force acts on 1st body: 10N
acceleration produces: 5ms^-2
F =ma
10= m X 5
so, mass(m1) of the body will be 2kg
force acts on 2nd body :10N
F= ma
10= m X 2
mass (m2) of the body will be 5kg
if they tied together,
F = (m1 + m2) x a
10 = (5+2)X a
a= 10/7
= 1.42
