A force of 10 N produces an acceleration of 5 ms2 in an object of mass m₁. The same force produces an acceleration of 10 ms2 in an object of mass m₂. If both the masses are tied together, then what will be the acceleration produced by the same force on them?

Answer:

M1= 2kg

M2 = 1kg

Total mass= 3kg

Force(F)=mass×acceleration

acceleration= F/m

= 10/3

= 3.33m/s^2
