A force of 10 Newton is applied on an object at rest.If the object continues to be in the state of rest, what is the magnitude of the force acting opposite to the applied force?

Accotding to Newton third law of motion every action has its equal and opposite reaction.

in the given question A Force of 10 Newton act on a body but a body will be remain in rest it is because an equal amount of force must be act on a body in opposite direction.

So 10 Newton in opposite directions .
