This problem can be solved by using the equation W= F X D.

Where, W is the work done, F is the force applied and D is the displacement.

Since the work done here is 150 joules and force is a 100N, we get the value of D as, 150/100 that is 1.5 metres.

Therefore the net displacement was 1.5 metres

<b><i><u> Given :

Force => F = 100 N ( Newton )

Work Done => W = 150 J ( Joules )

Displacement => S = __?

Formula :

 = > w = f \times s \\ \\ = > 150 = 100 \times s \\ \\ = > \frac{150}{100} = s\\ \\ = > 1.5 = s

Hence, displacement = s = 1.5 m ( meter )
