Answer:-

→ Mass of the body is 50 kg .

→ Velocity after 4s is 13 m s¹ .

Explanation:-

We have :-

• Force (F) = 100 N

• Acceleration (a) = 2 m s²

Initial velocity (u) = 5 m s¹

• Time (t) = 4 seconds

To find :-

• Mass of the body (m)

• Velocity of the body after 4s (v)

____________________________

By Newton's 2nd law of motion, we know that :-

F = ma

Substituting values, we get :-

⇒ 100 = m(2)

⇒ 100 = 2m

⇒ m = 100/2

⇒ m = 50 kg

Now, according to the 1st equation of motion :-

v = u + at

Substituting values, we get :-

⇒ v = 5 + (2)4

⇒ v = 5 + 8

⇒ v = 13 m s⁻¹

Given :-

Force = 100 N

Acceleration = 2 m/s²

Initial velocity = 5 m/s

Time = 4 sec

To Find :-

Velocity after 4 sec

Solution :-

We know that

\begin{cases} \bf F = Force \\ \bf M = Mass \\ \bf A = Acceleration \\ \bf V = Final \; Velocity \\ \bf U = Initial \; Velocity \\ \bf T = Time \end{cases}

m = f/a

m = 100/2

m = 50 kg

Now

We know that

v = u + at

v = 5 + 2(4)

v = 5 + 8

v = 13 m/s
