Given:

Force = 100 N

• Length of the rectangular object = 4m

• Breadth of the rectangular object = 2m

To find :

• Pressure being applied on the area .

Solution :

• As we know that:

 \star \boxed{ \bold{ pressure =  \frac{force}{area} }} \\

First find the area of the rectangular object .

• Area of the rectangular object = lenght × breadth

=> Area =( 4×2) m

=> Area = 8 m².

Now ,

 \implies \: pressure \:  =  \frac{100}{8} \\  \\   \implies \: pressure \:  = 12.5

Hence , the pressure is 12.5 N/.

p= F/A

p = 100/ 4×2

P= 100 /8

p = 12.5
