Given:-

  • Force exerted = 100N
  • Displacement of object = 8m
  • Time taken = 20s

To Find:-

  • The power of the object.

________________________________

Let's take:-

  • W = Work done
  • F = Force applied
  • S = Displacement of object
  • T = Time taken
  • P = Power of the object

________________________________

Solution:-

  • Finding the work done by force in displacing object.

W = F.s

W = (F)(s)(cos)= 1

[We don't have any information related to direction of force], so value will be (cos)=1

W=(F)(s)(1)

W=100N(8m)

W=800Nm

W=800J

Finding power of object:-

P= W/T

P=800J÷20s

P= 40Js

Answer= 40Watt

Solved!!
