A force of 10N acts on a body A of mass 2kg. What is its acceleration?

It then acts on another body B and produces an acceleration of 2.5ms^-2. Find the
mass of B. If this same force acts on the bodies A and B tied together, what would be the acceleration of the combined bodies?

Answer:

the acceleration of first object =5m/s^2

Explanation:

the mass of 2nd object = 4kg

the acceleration in both bodies =1.6667m/s^2

hope it helps

Answer:

f = m×a

10 = 2 ×a

a= 5

a = 2.5

f = 10

f = m × a

10 = m × 2.5

m = 100/25

m = 4

a+a

= 2.5 + 5

= 7.5
