Hello my dear bestie...

Here is your answer...

Pressure = F/a (Force per unit area)

F = 1200n

a = 10cm² = 10/100 × 100 = 0.001

P = Fa

→1200 × 0.001

→1.2 n/m² = 1.2pa

(pa means pascals)

Hope its usefull...

Step-by-step explanation:

Given force of 1200 n acts on the surface of area 10 cm square, here force is same as thrust which is equal to 1200 N, Area = 10 sq cm

We need to convert area into sq m

So 10 sq cm = 10 cm x cm = 10 cm^2

= 10 / 100 x 100 = 1 / 1000 m^2 = 0.001 m^2

Pressure = Force / unit area

= 1200 / 0.001

= 1200 x 1000

Pressure = 12 x 10^5 Pascals
