A force of 12N produces an acceleration of 3 m/s2

on a body and an acceleration of 4 m/s2

on another body of different mass. What will be the acceleration if the same force is applied

on the combined mass?​

Answer:

as force=mass*acceleration

so in first case

mass of 1st body is 12/3=4

and mass of 2nd body is 12/4=3

now acceleration of combined mass(4+3)

acceleration=force/mass

acceleration=12/7
