Explanation:

F= 15 N

For M1,                                 For M2,

F= ma                                    F= ma

=> 15 = M1*3                          =>15 =5M2

=> 5kg= M1                            =>3kg =M2

Therefore together,

F= (M1+M2)a

=>15 = (5+3)a

=>15/8 m/s2 = a

Explanation:

f=ma

15=M*3

M=5 kg

15=M2*5

M2=3 kg

M+M2= 8kg

f= ma

15=8*a

15/8=a

0.187(appox.)=a

Ans. acceleration will be 0.187 m upon second sq
