Question :-

  • A force of 150 N is applied to an object is area 5m². Calculate the pressure.

Given :-

  • Force applies = 5 N
  • Area = 5m²

To find :-

  • Pressure of the area.

Formula to be used :-

  • Pressure = Force / Area

Solution :-

  • Substituting the values in given formula :-

ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎=> P = 150 / 5

ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎ㅤ‎=> P = 30

Hence, Pressure = 30 pascal.
