a force of 20 n , act on a mass of m1 produces an acceleration of 4m/s2. the same force, when applied to mass m2 gives it an acceleration of 0.5/s2.what acceleration would the same force produce , when both masses are tied together

Heya mate....  ●●m'= F/a = 20/4 = 5kg   ●●m'' = 20/0.5 = 40 kg   ●●m = (m' + m'') = 45kg   ●●a(final) = 20/45 = 4/9 = 0.44 m/s^2  @skb
