W=Fscos(theta)

Given:

Force applied= 20N

displacement= 4 m

Angle of force= 45°

To find:

Work done

Formula:

W= Fscos(theta)

Solution:

W= 20×4×cos(45°)

= 20×4×(√2/2)

= 20×2(√2)

= 40√2 J
