Work done = Force × Displacement

= 20 N × 5m

= 100 joules

\huge\bold{\underline{\sf{\blue{Given:-}}}}

  • Force , F = 20 N
  • Displacement, S = 5 m

\huge\bold{\underline{\sf{\blue{To\:find:-}}}}

How much work is done ?

\huge\bold{\underline{\sf{\blue{Solution:-}}}}

We know that,

\boxed{\bf{\red{W=F×S}}}

.°. Work done by the object ,

W = 20 × 5 j

W = 100 j

Hence, work done by the object is 100 J

what is force ?

= Force is a physical quantity which deals with the dynamic of the motion. it's a vector quantity which has both magnitude and direction.

What is work ?

= When an object is displaced in the influence of a force,then the dot product of force and displacement provides the work done.

What is the SI unit of work ?

= SI unit of work is Joule

What is the formula of work ?

= W = F × S

Where, W = work , F = force and S = displacement.
