Answer:

pressure=F(force)/A(area)

20 Newton =20×100000=2000000 dyne

so pressure is 2000000/2=1000000dyne/cm^2

Force applied = 20 N

Area of contact = 2 cm^2 = 0.0002 m^2

Pressure = Force / Area

= 20N/0.0002m^2

= (20 × 10000)/2 N/m^2

= 10 × 10000 N/m^2

= 100000 Pa

= 1 × 10^5 Pa

Answer: Pressure = 100000 Pa = 1×10^5 Pa
