a force of 200 N is required to push a car of mass 500 kg, slowly at a constant speed on a level road. If a force of 500 N is applied, acceleration of the car (in m/s²) wil be
(a) zero
(b) 0.2
(c) 0.6 = correct answer but please solve here and tell how

By Force=mass×acceleration
So 300=500×acceleration
so acceleration = 0.6
I took force =300 because 200N force provides no acceleration. acceleration wiil be due to addition force.

SKS225: why you took 300 N only
Udit05: Because 200N is used in breaking moment of interia of car and rest 300N will provide acceleration
SKS225: here its written 500 N to be applied
SKS225: then how 300N ?????????
