m = 40kg
t = 4s
u = 0
v = ?
F = ma
a = F/m = 200/40 = 5m/s²
v = u + at
v = 0 + 5×4
v = 20m/s
Initial momentum = mu = 40×0 = 0
Final momentum = mv = 40×20 = 800kg m/s
Therefore,
change in momentum = final - initial momentum
= 800-0 = 800 kg m/s
