Work is said to be done when a force applied on a body causes some displacement on the body. Here, Force applied of 200 N displaces a body upto 25 N.

Work done = Force × Displacement.

By plugging the given values,

↝ Work done = 200 N × 25 m

↝ Work done = 5000 Nm

The unit of Nm can also be written as Joules.

Hence,

Work done by the force on the body is 5000 Joules. (Ans)
