Given :

Force (F) = 20 N

Time (T) = 5 sec

To Find :

The change of momentum of the body

Solution :

According to Newton's second law of motion,

    Force (F) = Rate of change of momentum

∴ The force acting on the body = Rate of change of momentum

⇒                  20                            =  \frac{Change of Momentum}{Time}

⇒                  20                            = \frac{Change of Momentum}{5}

∴          Change of momentum   =   100 N. sec

Therefore, the change of momentum of the body is found to be 100 N. sec
