A force of 20N acts on a surface of area 2m^2 another force of 5N acts on same surface. Calculate the pressure in each case.

pressure in first case is 10pascals and pressure in the second case is 2.5pascals

Explanation:

as pressure is equal to force divided by area

so , pressure in first case=20÷2=10pascals

pressure in second case=5÷2=2.5pascals
