Given,

 \rm Force = 20 \: N

 \rm Area = 50  \: {cm}^{2}  = 50 \times 10^{ - 4} {m}^{2}   = 0.005  \: {m}^{2}

 \bf Calculating  \: Pressure

As, we Know

 \huge \boxed{ \boxed { \tt Pressure =  \dfrac{Force}{Area }   }}

 \rm   Pressure  =  \dfrac{20 \: N}{0.005  \: {m}^{2} }

 \rm Pressure = \cancel{ 20} \times  \dfrac{1000}{ \cancel{5} }

 \rm Pressure = 4 \times 1000

 \tt Pressure = 4000 \: Pa

Thus, the Pressure applies is 4000 Pascal

Some Important Formulas

  •  \tt Speed = \dfrac{Distance}{Time}

  •  \tt Area =  Length \times Breadth

  •  \tt Acceleration = \dfrac{Velocity}{Time}

  •  \tt Density = \dfrac{Mass}{Volume}

  •  \tt Volume = Length \times Breadth \times Height

  •  \tt v = u + at

  •  \tt v^{2} - u^{2} = 2aS

  •  \tt S = ut + \dfrac{1}{2} at ^{2}

  •  \tt Force = Mass \times Acceleration

  •  \tt Momentum = Mass \times Speed

{\underline{\underline{\large{\bold{Given:-}}}}}

  • Force = 20 N
  • Area = 50 cm ²

{\underline{\underline{\large{\bold{To\: find:-}}}}}

  • Pressure in Pascal (Pa).

{\underline{\underline{\large{\bold{Solution:-}}}}}

Formula Used :-

{\boxed{\bold{P=\dfrac{F}{A}}}}

  • Terms identification :-
  • P = Pressure
  • F = Force
  • A = Area

Here,

  • F = 20 N
  • A = 50 cm² = \sf{50\times\:10^{-4}\:m^2}

\mapsto\sf{P=\dfrac{F}{A}}

\mapsto\sf{P=\dfrac{20}{50\times\:10^{-4}}}

\mapsto\sf{P=0.4\times\:10^4}

\mapsto\sf{P=4000}

Pressure = 4000 N/

Pressure = 4000 Pa.

Therefore, the value of pressure is 4000 Pa.
