Given:

Force :- 20N

Displacement :- 1.5M

To find:

Work done by force.

Solution:

We know,

Force is 20N that causes 1.5M displacement.

Concept:

☞ The push or pull of an object is called Force.

☞ The shortest distance travelled by an object between initial position to final position is called Displacement.

☞ In question, a object of 20N causes a 1.5m of displacement in an object in its own direction.

☞ We have to find work done, Work is said to be done when a force produces a displacement in the body and acts in any direction except perpendicular to the direction of displacement.

Work = Force × Displacement

Calculation:

➡W ≈ F × D

➡W ≈ 20 × 1.5

W = 30 Joules

Note: SI unit of work done is joule, so ans always written in joule.

F means force=20N

D means displacement=1.5m

W=FXD

20 X 1.5

=30joule ans
