As per the data given in the above question.

We above to find the work done .

Given,

Force,F = 250 N

distance,s= 2.5 m

Explanation:

Work done is defined as the force of 1 Newton in moving an object through a distance of 1 meter in the direction of the force.

The SI unit of work done is Joule (J)

Work done = Force × distance

W= F×s \:  \:  \:  \:  \: ...(1)

Now ,Put the value in the equation (1)

W= 250 \times 2.5

W= 250 \times  \frac{25}{10}

Divide 250 by 10 , we get

W= 25 \times 25

Multiply both terms ,we get

W= 625 \: Joule

Hence,

work done by the force is 625 Joule or 625 J.
