Question

A force of 30N acts on a body and moves it through a distance of 2 m in the direction of force calculate the work done by the force .

Answer

Force (F) = 30N

Displacement(S) = 2m

Work done = ?

As we know ,

Work done = Force * Displacement

=> F * S

Now ,

Work done = 30N * 2m

Work done = 60 J

>>Work done = Force multipled by diplacement.

>>Potential energy = pgh

>>Kinetic energy = 1/2mv^2

Work is said to be done only when the force is applied and taken along(Displacement)
