Given :-

Force acting on an object, f = 45 N.

Acceleration of the object, a = 1.5 m/s²

To Find :-

mass of the object

Solution :-

using Newton's 2nd law of motion .i.e.,

The rate of change of Momentum of the body with time is proportional to the net external force acting on it

In order words,

  • F = ma

here,

F Denotes Force, m Denotes Mass and a Denotes Acceleration.

so, using Newton's 2nd law of motion,

➠ F = ma

➠ 45 = (m)(1.5)

➠ M = 45 / 1.5

➠ M = 30 kg.

thus, the Mass of the object is 30 Kg.
