= 0 + 2 × 4
= 8 m/s
b.) for first 4 secs ,
S = ut +1/2 at^2
= 0 + 1/2 × 2×4×4
= 16m
for next 6 s,
S = vt
= 6 × 8 ( v = 8 as calculated in a)
= 48 m
total distance covered = 16+48
= 64m
