Given:

Force acting on body,F= 5 N

Mass of body,m= 0.3 kg

To Find:

Acceleration of body

Solution:

We know that,

  • Expression of force F is given by

\pink{\underline{\boxed{\bf{F=ma}}}}

where

m is mass

a is acceleration

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Let the acceleration of given body be a

So,

\longrightarrow\rm{F=ma}

\longrightarrow\rm{5=0.3a}

\longrightarrow\rm{0.3a=5}

\longrightarrow\rm{a=\dfrac{5}{0.3}}

\longrightarrow\rm\green{a=16.67\ m/s^{2}}

Hence, the acceleration of body is 16.67 m/s².

Additional Information

Force

Force is an act of any push and pull on body.

Mass

Mass is defined as the amount of matter present in the substance.

Acceleration

The rate of change of velocity is called acceleration.

Given :-

★A force of 5 N acts on a body of mass 0.3 kg.

To Find :-

★ Acceleration produced in the body.

Solution :-

We know,

\blue{\implies \boxed{\sf F=ma}}

Where,

F = Force

a = Acceleration

m = Mass

By substituting the given values, we get

⟹ 5 = 0.3 × a

⟹ a = 16. 667 m/s²

Hence,

Acceleration ___

\blue{\sf \implies a=16.667 \ m/s^{2}}

★ {\underline{\underline{\large{\bold{More\:Information:-}}}}}

1. What is acceleration?

Acceleration is the rate of change of the velocity with respect to time.

2. What is force?
