a force of 5 Newton produce an acceleration of 8 metre second power minus 2 on a mass M1 and acceleration of 24 metre per second power -2 on a mass M2 what acceleration with the same force provide if both of masses are tied together please answer me

acceleration ( a1 ) = 8 m/s^2
acceleration ( a2 ) = 24 m/s^2
We can take out mass ( M1 and M2 ) by the information above .
=> 5 = M1 × 8
=> M1 = 5/8
=> 5 = M2 × 24
=> M2 = 5/24
When these mass are tied together i.e M1 + M2 :-
=> 5/8 + 5/24
=> 5/6
M1 + M2 = 5/6
So acceleration will be = F/(M1+M2)
=> a = 5 ÷ ( 5/6 )
♦ Acceleration = 6 m/s^2
