A force of 50 N can loosen a nut when applied at the end of a spanner 10 cm long. what should be the length of the spanner to loosen the same nut with a 60 N force?

Answer: Torque (T) is same in both cases.

Explanation: T = R×F

T1=T2

50 * 10 = 60 * x ( x = unknown length of new spanner )

x = 25/3 cm
