a force of 50N acts on a body for 1/10 s. Find the change in the momentum of the body.

B impulse momentum theorem we have change in momentum is equal to impulse which in turn have formula Force × time.

So change in momentum = F×t
= 50×10
= 500 N/s

Given

Force = 50N , Time = 1/10s or 0.1s

as we know,

Momentum = Force*Time

                   = 50N*0.1s

                   = 5kg-m/s
