Answer:

Pressure = Thrust / Area

Thrust = Force in perpendicular direction = 50 N

Area = 10 cm^2

= 0.1 m^2

therefore , Pressure = 50 ÷ 0.1 = 500 ÷1

hence , Pressure = 500 Pascal

 \large\bf\underline {To \: find:-}

  • we need to find the pressure.

 \large\bf\underline{Given:-}

  • A force of 50N acts over a area of 10cm square.

 \huge\bf\underline{Solution:-}

  • Force = 50N
  • Area = 10cm² = 0.1m²

 \bigstar \underline{ \boxed{ \bf \: pressure =  \frac{force}{area} }}

Pressure = 50/0.1

pressure = 500/1

  • pressure = 500Nm²

★━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

Pressure :- The force exerted per unit area is called pressure.

»★SI unit of pressure is Pascal.

  • Pascal = Newton/meter square
  • 1PA = 1N/m²

»★ pressure is directly proportional to force .means if pressure is increased then force will automatically increased.

»★ Pressure is inversely proportional to Area. means if pressure will increase then area will automatically decreased.
