Explanation:

force=50N

distance=100m

work done=force×distanse

W=F×s

w=50N×100m

w=5000j

hope it helpful..

Given:

A force of 50N acts through a distance of 100m.

To find:

Value of work done ??

Calculation:

Since both the force vector and displacement vector is presumed to be in the same direction (in this case) , we can say that :

  \rm\therefore \: work \: done = force \times displacement

  \rm\implies \: work \: done = 50 \times 100

  \rm\implies \: work \: done = 5000 \: joule

  \rm\implies \: work \: done = 5 \: kilojoule

So, the work done is positive , and is equal to 5 kilojoule.
